Silt Fence

Silt fence is a temporary barrier designed to retain sediment on a construction site. It consists of a geotextile fabric attached to supporting posts that are trenched into the ground. The fence retains sediment primarily by preventing flow, primarily capturing and retaining sediment on the uphill side of the fence. Silt fence has some filtering capabilities as the storm water permeates through the geotextile fabric.

Temporary Silt Fence

Our Silt Fence is a temporary construction fence made from a woven UV protected plastic geotextile. The black silt fence is 3' tall by 100' long and comes with wood posts pre-installed every 5' for quick and easy installation. The 3' high fence can be used for commercial or residential applications.

Large Quantity Silt Fence Rolls

These silt fence rolls are designed to be used with a silt fence plow. The Silt Fence Plow rolls are 3' x 2,000'. These require adding the stakes separately.

Wireback Silt Fence

Our Wire Back Silt Fence is similar to our Temporary Silt Fence using a woven UV portected plastic with the inclusion of 2 gauge wire backing for support. The Wire Back Silt Fence comes in rolls of 3 ft. by 330 ft. These require the addition of wood or metal T stakes.
